To tell your personal sling size, measure from your shoulder, across your chest, to your opposite
hip. That will be your sling size, I add extra fabric for a comfortable fit.
If you are pregnant and want to determine your sling size, measure across your back instead of
your front, and then add extra to include your chest size.

Types of fabric used
I use a blend of cotton/polyester fabric for most slings; some are made from linen, cordaroy or twill.
I will use a heavyweight 100% cotton fabric, I personally feel that the regular 100% cotton fabric is
not strong enough and will wear out easily. If making a reversible sling, the fabric is regular 100% cotton fabric, but doubling it up makes it strong enough to safely hold your baby.
I do not use stretchy fabric that would stretch and tear. I only use strong fabric that will not wear
out easily and makes your baby feel safe.
All fabrics are pre-washed using hot water and a high dryer setting.
